Hadith: “The most devoted worshipper among people is the one who recites the Qur’an the most. And the most virtuous form of worship is supplication.”
اَعْبَدُ النَّاسِ اَكْثَرُهُمْ تِلَاوَةً لِلْقُرْاٰنِ وَاَفْضَلُ الْعِبَادَةِ الدُّعَاءُ
Explanation : As is well known, the Noble Qur’an is a divine book that serves as a guide to salvation for all humanity. Eternal happiness and success lie in adhering to its commandments and counsels. Those who persist in reading this blessed Book are most deserving of being counted among the devout and ascetic.
As for prayer, it is the fruit of sound belief. For one who prays with full submission acknowledges the existence and oneness of Allah, and firmly believes that none but He can bestow or withhold. A person with such faith, who prays sincerely as prescribed by religion, undoubtedly engages in one of the most meritorious acts of worship.
So let us turn our hearts to Allah the Exalted and plead with Him, that He may never deprive us Muslims of sound belief, sincere worship, and noble character. May He grant honor and a refined life to the entire Muslim world. Amin.
